Ms. Amy Ruggles is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate law as determined by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.
Ms. Ruggles practices estate planning, trust administration, probate, and corporate law including formation of legal entities, leases, partnership agreements, asset sales agreements plus various other business matters. With the firm since May 2005, she received specialized mediation training and is on the Mediation Panel for the Sacramento County Probate Court. Ms. Ruggles may appear before all of the State Courts of California as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. In the first four years of her legal career, she defended public entities in employment disputes based on claims of harassment, discrimination and retaliation. She is a current member of Women Lawyers of Sacramento and a former U.C. Davis Extension business law instructor. Ms. Ruggles received her Juris Doctor in 1996 from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law and is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University Los Angeles with a BA in Business Administration.
